Built strong. Built to last.

Empire Stone Group does one kind of work: concrete and stone. Driveways, patios, slabs, pavers, walls and masonry, for homeowners and builders across North Carolina.

Why only concrete and stone

Most outdoor contractors do a little of everything: mulch in spring, a patio in summer, gutters in fall. We do not. A crew that pours concrete every week reads a slab differently from one that pours a few a year. It knows when the bleed water has gone and the broom can go on, how a stamp behaves on a hot afternoon, and what a retaining wall needs behind it to still be straight in ten winters.

That focus is the whole business. It is why every quote we write lists thickness, mix strength, base depth and drainage, and why we would rather lose a job to a lower bid than leave those lines off.

How we work

The person who quotes it runs it

The estimator who walks your property is the crew lead on the job. Nothing is lost between the quote and the pour, and you have one number to call.

The spec is on paper

Your quote is a spec sheet: what goes under the surface, what the surface is made of, and when you can use it. Compare it line for line with anyone else's.

We leave it like we found it, plus the work

Lawn protected, forms and cut-offs hauled, driveway swept. The neighbors should only notice the finished work.

Four things on every job.

A free on-site estimate

We measure, check grade and drainage, and talk through the options. No charge, no obligation, no pressure on the day.

An itemized written quote

Every line of the build, priced, usually within two business days of the visit.

A base you cannot see

Compacted stone, drainage and reinforcement on every slab, patio and wall, because that is where the work lasts or fails.

A walk-through before the last invoice

We walk the job with you, fix anything that is not right, and hand you the cure dates and care notes in writing.
